Badger State Knives

These knives are made by Ashten Brown in Wisconsin Rapids, WI

Ashten was introduced to the carving world 20 years ago by her grandpa Greg.  Some of you may know him or have taken a class with him.

Early on she was introduced to Denny Neubauer.  In 2022, a comment was made at lunch one Sunday afternoon that got her thinking: She can do this! She enlisted the help of her good friend Denny and her Grandpa Greg to get the ball rolling.

Badger State is a young company bringing you the affordable quality you can count on.

All knives are made with O1 Tool Steel, precision cut with a water jet, and sharpened by hand. All handles are made from quality wood and shaped by hand.

Knives come sharp and are ready to use.  

Stadtlander Woodcarvings offers three handle styles: Fishtail, Signature, and Duck Butt in varying blade lengths and wood handle types.  Wood handle types include Maple, Oak, and Poplar.  Poplar handles are supplied in various colors.
