Silvern Knives

Silvern Works LLC was established in September 2023 by Ken Silvern. Their focus is on making unique, handmade knives and other items for those who value craftsmanship. 

Silvern Wood Carving Knives are made using O1 tool steel. The heat treatment is done in-house, resulting in Rockwell hardness of 60-62. The knives are 1/16? thick and vary in length and width depending on the style. All knives are ground flat with a slightly convex secondary bevel that you can customize to your preference. All handles measure 5? in length and around 3/4? in thickness.

Available handle materials are walnut and “Dymalux”. All types are made with “micarta”-style bolsters for extra stability.
