This apron is made for the Woodcarver who uses a rotary tool or carves up on their chest. The leather helps keep you from getting injured. If the cutter from the rotary tool gets caught in you clothes it could rip your clothes or even cut you. If the cutter hits the leather, there is less chance of getting hurt.
Each apron is made out of quality materials. It is made out of canvas shrunk water-resistant material which means you can use a warm washcloth to clean or if you prefer wash in old water and hang to dry.
